Nature Photo Walk in High Park Toronto on May 23, 2026 (Postponed to Sun. May 24)

UPDATE: Postponed to Sun. May 24 same time and place!

Welcome to this special photo walk event that combines nature photography and landscape photography in beautiful High Park, Toronto. Our host is Mike Simpson from Tdot Shots.

Date and Time: 5:30 pm at High Park (location TBA via email) on May 23, 2026. Postponed to May 24 same time and place!

FYI for our supporters: this is also our 8th anniversary celebration. Tdot Shots was founded as @tdot_shots on Instagram on the Victoria Day weekend in 2018! We held our first photo walk that year in the early fall. A lot of memories of the dozens of events we have held and hundreds of participants we have met and enjoyed shooting photography with and exploring this amazing city.

During this meetup we look at:

  • Spring flowers and blooming trees of High Park
  • The Oak Meadows, Hillside Gardens and Grenadier Pond
  • Nature photography & landscape photography
  • Cultural and environmental history in west end Toronto

High Park is a fantastic place to explore the flora and fauna of the Greater Toronto Area including plants, trees and animals typical of Southern Ontario. Learn about the special Black Oak Savannah ecosystem, explore some of the lesser known trails, and meet other nature photography enthusiasts on the walk.

All are welcome. You don’t need to have photography experience or a mirrorless/DSLR. Many participants bring a smartphone.

Meeting location: The meeting spot is TBA, you will receive a confirmation email by mid morning on the day of the event. Please add [email protected] to your address book. We look forward to providing tips and updates.

This is a free event. You can register via this site. After registration an email is sent with a confirmation.

This is one of our favourite photo walks in Toronto! If you have any questions please reach out! Contact me: [email protected]
