DESCRIPTION:Note: this event was scheduled for May 18. It has been rescheduled to June 2. \nJoin us in the beautiful Beaches neighbourhood in the east Toronto waterfront. This Tdot.cc community meetup is for photographers and city explorers curious about Toronto classics and landmarks. All are welcome. \nOur focus is on photography at the wonderful lakeshore beaches and parks found around Queen St. East. The walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours. By mid May vegetation it’s starting to feel like summer is on the horizon – flowers will be blooming and trees are starting to turn green. \nThis meetup is organized by Mike Simpson\, avid photographer and city hike enthusiast. The event is produced by Tdot Shots. Follow our pages on IG: @tdot_shots + @tdot_mike. \nThis meetup is free. Some versions of this event have a small fee and are conducted as a walking tour focusing on culture\, history and architecture. Please register / RSVP. We encourage participants to also join our membership site\, Tdot Connect and follow @tdot_shots on Instagram. \nWe love this downtown tour! All are welcome. Our focus is on photography and architecture. This photo walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours. We start our meetup at 6:30 pm. \nThe walk takes place in the downtown Toronto central business district and east\, also known as “Old Town Toronto.” Typically we walk from Union Station or TD Centre to the Gooderham Building and St. James Cathedral\, passing many iconic Toronto landmarks such as the Financial District (TD Centre\, Commerce Court)\, Brookfield Place\, Front St. East and Berczy Park. \nWe walk slowly and point out unique spots to shoot.
