DESCRIPTION:Hello city explorers and fans of photography. This is a free event. Registration is required (RSVP). We encourage participants to also join our membership site\, Tdot Connect and follow @tdot_shots on Instagram. \nWe love this downtown tour! All are welcome. Our focus is on photography and architecture. This photo walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours. We start our meetup at 6:30 pm. \nThe walk takes place in the downtown Toronto central business district and east\, also known as “Old Town Toronto.” Typically we walk from Union Station or TD Centre to the Gooderham Building and St. James Cathedral\, passing many iconic Toronto landmarks such as the Financial District (TD Centre\, Commerce Court)\, Brookfield Place\, Front St. East and Berczy Park. \nWe walk slowly and point out unique spots to shoot. After the walk we encourage participants to explore the Front St and King St. neighbourhoods\, including St. Lawrence Market\, and St. James Cathedral. \nYou do not need to have a professional camera. Many participants shoot with smartphones. Many of us are happy to share photography tips! We look forward to welcoming you. DESCRIPTION:Please note: we are moving this event to summer (date TBA). Sorry for any inconvenience. \nAre you interested in exploring Toronto’s parks and natural spaces? At this event we explore two of the best spots in the west side of the city: High Park and Sunnyside Beach. This photo walk meetup is open to all – bring a smartphone or your DSLR / mirrorless cameras. This meetup may involve extensive walking so wear comfortable shoes and be rested! The meetup is led by Mike Simpson from Tdot Shots. Be sure to follow Mike and Tdot Shots on Instagram: @tdot_shots. Some highlights: \n\nOak meadows\nNature Centre\nLabyrinth\nGrenadier pond\nHillside Gardens\nSunnyside Beach\nHumber Bay Arch Bridge\n\nThe walk will be approximately two hours and be fast paced. We suggest you pack lightly with a zoom or small bag and probably skip the heavy tripod. We can’t guarantee we see all of the highlighted locations but we will certainly try time permitting.
