WELCOME!
Are you interested in landscape and nature photography in the Greater Toronto Area? Join us on Oct. 20! We will meet up with Chris Noronha, one of the GTA region’s best landscape photographers and members of the local photo community, to explore Rouge National Urban Park, a gem in the east of Toronto.
Though within the city limits, this sprawling paradise is resplendent with nature. We will shoot at sunrise and discuss artistic and technical aspects of landscape / nature photography.
Photographers and nature enthusiasts are welcome to join. This walk is for all skill levels – bring a smartphone or DSLR/mirrorless camera (though we do recommend a camera with user adjustable manual settings). Learn something new and share tips with your peers.
OVERVIEW
What: Landscape Photography Walk at Rouge Park with Chris Noronha – shoot with other enthusiasts and learn from an expert. We’ll cover the art and techniques of landscape and nature photography.
Where: Rouge Park, location TBA (you will be updated prior to the event)
Hosts: Mike Simpson from Tdot Shots and guest Chris Noronha
When: October 20, 2024 – Sunrise, 7:30 am (we suggest arriving 15 minutes before sunrise or earlier during blue hour).
Cost: $10, limited to 20 participants (you are buying a community-level membership at our site tdot.co, and this event is free with this membership).
Online support: a participant’s web page will be established on our website. It will go live at least one week prior to the event – introduce yourself, review resources and provide your own ideas and tips!
Transportation: Though Rouge Park is accessible by TTC, it is suggested you travel by car. We recommend car pooling. There are fees for parking inside the park.
Rain date: We walk rain or shine and only cancel in cases of extreme weather. Rain date would be the next Sunday, Oct. 27.
