University of Toronto History Architecture and Fall Photo Walk Tour on Oct. 26, 2024 (New Date)

Join us for a History-Architecture Photo Walk Tour at the lovely University of Toronto. This meetup is led by Mike Simpson from Tdot Shots. We are going to enjoy some fall photography. Please sign up!

Our focus is on history, architecture and spring bloom photography at the wonderful U of T. The walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours. By late May the trees and flowers at the St. George campus are in significant bloom.

This meetup and walking tour is organized by Mike Simpson, avid photographer and architecture enthusiast. The event is produced by Tdot Shots in association with Iconic Toronto. Follow our pages: @tdot_shots and @iconictoronto.

This meetup is in the form of a 90-minute tour and photo walk. This is a free event. Please register.

Some highlights of the walk (weather permitting and depending on route):

• Victoria College / St. Michael’s College
• Queen’s Park
• Trinity College
• Soldiers Tower / Hart House
• University College
• Convocation Hall

You do not need to have a professional camera. Many participants shoot with smartphones. Many of us are happy to share photography tips! This event will be an opportunity to network and learn more about photography and the amazing architecture an history of the U of T.

By the way, the original date was Oct. 12 however I had to change it from Thanksgiving weekend to the new date Oct. 26. This is a good thing –  as fall has started slowly, the leaves will be in peak colour at this later date.
