Welcome. We are celebrating our 6th anniversary and invite you to join us for a special photo walk and night photography workshop on May 11 (rain date May 12).
Our guest, Scott Visscher, will demonstrate sunset and night photography techniques and lead us on a long exposure / light painting photography journey, all with the beautiful Toronto skyline in the background. 🙂

Participants will be assisted by Scott and can expect that more experienced shooters in attendance will offer helpful tips. A DSLR or mirrorless is ideal but some of our attendees use smartphones. You should bring a tripod and be able to access settings for taking longer exposures (such at manual mode or shutter priority mode).

Our event takes place an hour before sunset. You will be able to travel to the island via the Toronto ferry service or water taxi. Buy your ticket for Toronto ferries in advance to save time at the gate. You must buy your own ticket.
Suggestion: Organizers will be meeting by 6:30 pm sharp to take the 6:40 pm ferry to Centre Island. We suggest leaving by a ferry which departs at 9:40 pm. You may make other arrangements if you wish (earlier or later departures).
