Goals for the event
Objectives and Themes:
- Study the Avedon Style: Learn how stark backgrounds and high-contrast lighting unlock raw human emotion in your portraits.
- Direct with Confidence: Practice directing enthusiastic models to capture candid, authentic micro-expressions instead of stiff poses
- Elevate Your Portfolio: Walk away with high-energy, professionally directed portrait shots created alongside our creators / models.
- Connect with Local Creatives: Build your network and collaborate alongside a supportive community of Toronto photographers

- What: Richard Avedon Immortal: Portraits of Aging, 1951–2004 features nearly 100 stark, unsparing portraits of cultural icons like Toni Morrison, Duke Ellington, and Patti Smith.

About Tdot Shots 2026 Fall events season
