Tdot Shots Photo Walks and Tours in Toronto for Spring 2025
Howdy friends and colleagues and welcome to our favourite announcement of the year where we tell you about our event lineup for the early year and spring. Meetups and workshops and tours are absolutely the best way to meet people, enjoy the city, and gain new skills and experiences.
We have been hosting photo walks and tours since we launched in 2018. So as we enter our eighth season we are stoked to be able to welcome you to our little corner of the GTA creator community.

- Feb 22, Sat. – Yonge St Illuminite (Free)
- March 8, Sat. – Art and Architecture Tour ($8)
- March 9, Sun. – Rain date for A&A
- March 15, Sat. – U of Toronto (Free)
- March 22, Sat. – Allan Gardens (Free, first day of spring 🌿)

About Our Photo Walks and Meetups
Our photo walks are also known as meetups. A friendly group of photographers an city explorers shows up and we chat, walk and take photos. Simple and fun. We walk and shoot at University of Toronto, Downtown Yonge St (Sankofa Square / Dundas Square), and Allen Gardens from February to March and then continue with our events throughout summer and fall. We only take January off – otherwise we walk rain or shine through all four seasons!

Illuminite Photo Walk Series
Hosted by Tdot Shots and Downtown Yonge BIA, these photo walks will be fun! You can participate in a special photo contest with two categories: Valentine’s theme and Artworks theme.
Sign up for a walk – you can choose from Feb. 14, Feb. 15 or Feb. 22. Exact location is confirmed the morning of the event. You’ll receive an email reminder and details.

Art and Architecture Photo Walk and Walking Tour
A unique event we introduced last year, your host and guide, Mike Simpson will lead you on a journey through downtown Toronto, exploring the best in public art, murals, sculpture and classic, modernist and post-modernist architecture.
