Spring Photo Walks, Workshop and Walking Tours Announcement – Join Us! 🌱📷
Welcome. We are excited to announce the final lineup for our scheduled events for photographers and city explorers. We have free events like Photo Walks and paid events like Photo Walk Tours and Workshops.
FYI: the Photo Walk Tour is really a walking tour with a focus on taking photos, and your host Tdot Mike provides lots of detail about the culture and history of Toronto. Workshops are great for training and practice and focus on photography techniques. Guests like Paul Flynn lead our workshop events including the popular Long Exposure Workshops (next one May 2).
Without further adieu here is the lineup:
- May 2 – Long Exposure Photo Workshop with Paul Flynn (Tickets available)
- May 9 – Spring Photo Walk Allan Gardens to Queens Park (Free, RSVP)
- May 23 – High Park Spring Photo Walk (Free, RSVP)
- May 30 – TO Art & Architecture (Tickets available)
About the events

Long exposure photo workshop (May 2)
Paul Flynn, our resident expert and long exposure specialist leads a small group on a workshop focused on light trails and long exposure techniques. This event is a twist on the route and subject matter of earlier events. If innovative downtown night photography appeals to you be sure to register.
Spring Stroll aka Photo Walk from Allan Gardens to Queens Park (May 9)
Brand new event that promises some interesting combination of nature and the city. We spend some time at the amazing Allan Gardens conservatory and then stroll west across downtown and Yonge St to the incredible Queens Park aka the Ontario Parliament building.
High Park Spring Photo Walk (May 23)
We return to the iconic west end Toronto park that is both epic in scope and offers some of the most diverse environmental character in the city. While we touch on culture and history our photo group mostly takes in the unique natural features such as the oak meadows and forested valleys and aspects like random public art, and the incredible Grenadier pond and Hillside gardens. It’s a spectacular place for a spring walk.
Art and Architecture Photo Walk Tour (May 30)
An event we have offered just a few times, we pack a lot of insights into the history o art and architecture in the downtown core into our photo walk tour. Visit cool photo spots that present both iconic views and unusual perspectives. We focus on the financial district but our walk extends to City Hall and west to Chinatown. Interested in artistic sides of the city? This event is definitely worth your consideration.

Thanks and See You Soon
This is probably one of the best event spring event schedules in our history. It combines nature and landscape photography and some exciting cityscape and street events in the downtown business district along with the art and architecture theme which is unique (we’ve only offered this one a handful of times!). It is rich and diverse – just like Tdot Shots and the GTA community.
Hope to see you at an event. You can register and buy tickets on this site Tdot.cc.
